Chateau Roc de Minvielle
FRANCE
The earliest written record mentioning Minvielle dates back to 1705. The building, built in 1610, wore the name of its owner, Philippe de Minvielle, captain of the regiment. Louis de Minvielle, born in 1707, lawyer at Bordeaux Parliament, kept the property. During the French Revolution in 1789, Château Minvielle was confiscated and sold as national property.
Nowadays Château Roc de Minvielle has been managed by the Gadras Family since the beginning of the XIX century, the property was passed down from generation to generation. Each of them play its part in the renewed success of Château Minvielle.
